What is your most memorable wedding?
“One of my most memorable weddings was for Emily and James. They wanted their day to feel completely personal, so we went all in on the little details that truly told their love story. They got married at the charming barn where James proposed, and we incorporated hand-written vows that they shared during a private moment before the ceremony. They also had a family-style dinner, with their favorite homemade dishes, which made the evening feel so warm and intimate. Seeing them exchange their vows, surrounded by close friends and family, was such a special moment. It’s moments like those that remind me why I love what I do — being part of such meaningful celebrations is truly an honour!”

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number one tip for couples planning their wedding is to stay true to what feels right for you both. It’s easy to get caught up in trends, outside opinions, or what you think is expected, but your wedding day should reflect your unique love story and personalities. Focus on what truly matters to you — whether that’s a small, intimate gathering or a grand celebration — and everything else will fall into place. Trust the process and enjoy the journey!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my favorite personal touches at a wedding is when couples incorporate family heirlooms or meaningful items into their celebration. Whether it’s a piece of jewelry passed down through generations, a sentimental photograph displayed during the ceremony, or a special song played that holds a memory, those personal touches really add a deeper layer of meaning and make the day feel even more intimate and heartfelt. It’s these little details that truly reflect the couple’s unique story and the love that’s been passed down through the years.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My wedding planning process is all about creating a personalised experience that reflects your unique love story. Here’s how it typically goes:
1. Initial Consultation – We’ll sit down (or chat virtually) to get to know each other and discuss your vision for the big day. I’ll ask about your style, preferences, and any must-haves to make sure we’re on the same page.
2. Budget & Timeline – Once we have a vision, we’ll work together to set a realistic budget and create a timeline that ensures everything runs smoothly, from the engagement to the last dance.
3. Vendor Recommendations & Bookings – I’ll connect you with trusted vendors who align with your style and budget. I’ll help with everything from the venue and photographer to florists and entertainment, ensuring every detail is covered.
4. Design & Details – We’ll dive into the design elements — color schemes, florals, decor, and other special touches that make your wedding uniquely yours. I’ll also help with logistical details, like seating charts and timelines, so everything flows seamlessly.
5. Rehearsal & Final Coordination – Before the big day, we’ll have a rehearsal to make sure everyone knows their roles. Then, on the day of your wedding, I’ll be there to coordinate every detail, making sure things go off without a hitch.
6. Celebration – Most importantly, I’ll make sure you can relax and enjoy the day. From managing last-minute details to keeping everything on track, I’m here to make your wedding day as stress-free and magical as possible.
Ultimately, my goal is to bring your dream wedding to life while ensuring every moment is memorable and stress-free.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
The most unusual birthday I’ve ever had to plan was for a client who wanted a “time travel” themed party to celebrate their milestone birthday. They loved history and wanted each part of the event to transport guests to different eras. The venue was divided into sections, each representing a different time period, like the roaring ’20s, ancient Egypt, and the future. Guests received invitations styled like old-timey train tickets, and the food and entertainment matched each theme. The highlight was a surprise performance where actors reenacted key moments from history. It was an incredibly creative and fun challenge to bring different time periods together in one night, and the energy was unforgettable!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
To ensure a stress-free wedding, I focus on meticulous planning, clear communication, and seamless coordination. Here’s how I do it:
1. Detailed Planning – We start by creating a thorough timeline and checklist from day one, so nothing is overlooked. I break down every task into manageable steps and keep everything organized.
2. Vendor Coordination – I work directly with all the vendors, ensuring everyone is on the same page and that everything arrives and is set up exactly as planned. This allows you to relax without worrying about the details.
3. Pre-wedding Rehearsals – A rehearsal before the big day helps everyone know what to expect. This way, the ceremony and all logistics run smoothly, and you don’t have to worry about last-minute confusion.
4. Real-Time Problem Solving – On the wedding day, I’m there to handle any unexpected hiccups that come up, so you can stay focused on enjoying every moment. I make sure the timeline is followed and keep everything running on schedule.
5. Clear Communication – I keep open lines of communication with the couple, vendors, and the wedding party, so everyone is aligned and there are no surprises. You’ll always know what’s happening next!
My goal is for you to enjoy your day to the fullest, without being distracted by the details. Let me handle everything so you can focus on making memories!
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about being a wedding coordinator is the opportunity to be part of one of the most meaningful days in a couple’s life. It’s incredibly rewarding to help bring their vision to life and see everything come together — from the smallest details to the big moments. I love the excitement and energy of the day, and being able to create an environment where they can just relax, enjoy, and celebrate without stress. The joy, the love, and the personal connections I get to witness are what make this job truly special for me. Every wedding is a unique story, and I’m so grateful to be part of that journey.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
My favorite wedding moment has to be when the couple sees each other for the first time during the ceremony. That moment when they lock eyes, whether it’s during the first look or walking down the aisle, is always so emotional and beautiful. It’s pure, unfiltered love, and you can feel the energy shift in the room. It’s a moment that truly belongs to just them, and watching that raw connection unfold is what makes every wedding day feel so magical.
