Kate and Kate celebrants are former marriage registrars with over twenty years' experience conducting weddings, between them. They are both obsessed with making your ceremony exactly how you want it to be. They work with you to find out exactly what you want and then hold your hand every step of the way to make sure that's what you get. They meet you well in advance of the big day to 'get to know you', write a script that is completely personal to you, and that you have approval of, co-ordinate your ceremony (anticipating any problems even before they arise). They can conduct a ceremony anywhere you like and, unlike the registration service, they're never rushing in from one wedding or out to another, as your wedding will be the only one they'll focus on that day. You can have either Kate T (blonde) or Kate D (red-head) as your celebrant - although they're very like Ant and Dec, they don't conduct the ceremonies together! They can also stay on and co-ordinate your evening should you require it - making sure it flows as smoothly as the wine!

What is your most memorable wedding?
Kate and Kate both think the most memorable weddings are the ones where you feel the luuuurrrvvve. There have been a few over the years that have crackled with scrummy loveliness and we've gone away feeling warm, fuzzy and well jel!

How hard we've worked, how we rise to every new challenge and how we wet ourselves laughing nearly every day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make one firm decision and everything else will follow. Oh, and make sure you reeealllly want to spend the rest of your life with that person!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We love a personal vow - sometimes they're so gorgeous we well up! Also, love it when the kids get involved.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once you've booked either Kate... or Kate, we'll send you a questionnaire to 'get to know' you better. This is just a starting point to work from, it isn't set in stone. We'll then meet/ speak on the phone to go through your questionnaire and your further ceremony requirements, writing a bespoke ceremony which will be completely personal to you and you will have approval of. We can write something that mirrors a traditional wedding ceremony or, throw the rule book out of the window and have dancing girls and a big brass band. We turn up about an hour before the ceremony, meet each of you in turn to talk you through everything and calm those last-minute nerves. Then, woo-hoo, it's the main event - we'll conduct your ceremony with feeling, flair, warmth and wit and throw a bit of gentle sentiment in there too, for good measure. We only have one ceremony on any given day, so will not be rushing in from one or rushing off to another one - we're all yours. And we even give you a beautiful commemorative certificate to remember the day by. What's not to like!
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
Themed weddings can be interesting! Between us we've been pirates, witches and Star War characters! Love a bit of dressing up!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Drugs and alcohol...!! Only joking! We know exactly what we're doing and can anticipate any problems before they arise - you really are safe in our hands.
What do you love most about your job?
The privilege of being part of people's lives at such an amazing time... It's a bit icky but we really do mean it. Even after all these years, we still bloody love a wedding!
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
When the couple spend the first moments after the service signing their Commemorative Certificate and relax together after the tension of the ceremony. Suddenly you see the real them and it's just gorgeous.
