I adore weddings. I've had the pleasure of working in the wedding industry for the last fifteen years, starting as a wedding coordinator, gaining experience in various venues, later venue manager, and for the last three years as independent wedding planner ...and there is still nothing I enjoy more. What can I do for you? I would love to help you along with your wedding planning: being your support as you navigate the sometimes overwhelming world of Pinterest and wedding fairs and wedding logistics. I offer both full planning - where I assist you with all the details from start to finish - or Wedding Day Management (i.e coordination) where I come on board to help you execute all your plans on the day. I promise to always be helpful, supportive, and guide you in the right direction, drawing on many years of experience. I adore innovative weddings. Weddings that celebrate your personalities, taste and style. And if it involves a bit of a logistical nightmare - even better! Throw in a bit of countryside, some muddy wellies, and I'm in my element. Nothing I enjoy more. So get in touch, let's chat, and see how I can help you!
Most of my weddings take place in a barn, field or garden - all of which have been amazing - but due to the change in location, my most memorable one was a spring wedding in an iconic historical building, on a tiny island, right in the middle of Stockholm. Breathtaking.
Country-loving, problem-solving, fun, approachable, detail-oriented
I get to make a living from doing something I love!
Amazing weddings are less about the stuff, and more about the people. Focus on the things that will make your guests extremely happy - food, drink and brilliant entertainment - and you will have the most amazing wedding too.
Cards on each guest's place setting, that included a personalised thank you to that guest, a fun talking-point about the guest next to them, their menu and their name. All printed in a font produced especially for the wedding.
For Full Planning, we have an initial discovery call followed by a tailored proposal. From there, we have a serious in-depth chat! About all your likes (and dislikes!) your style, your values...so I can set to work to plan a wedding that is utterly and completely 'you'.
For On the Day Coordination, I would normally come onboard after the location has been decided. I schedule an initial meeting, to get a good idea of requirements, and the 'vibe' we're aiming for, and also check what progress has been made so far. After that, I give as much support as required via email and phone, in terms of supplier recommendations, and other practical aspects of the wedding.
After a final meeting a few weeks before the wedding, I would be on-hand to organise the set-up the day before the wedding (if possible) and then I would do the full event management on the day, being your liaison between caterer and other suppliers, and making sure everything runs perfectly on the day. Without having to ask favours of family and friends! I'm also a stickler for the pack-down, to make the following day as easy as possible.

By never being afraid of mucking-in and getting things done!
When couples, and their families, welcome me into their fold, willing to share their everyday and letting me slide into the fabric of their lives - even if it's just for a brief moment in time during the planning and the wedding day itself - it never fails to remind me what an immense privilege it is, how much more my role is than just a 'job'.
When a couple get announced in to a wedding breakfast. The whooping, the cheering, the sheer joy!
