Would you like a celebrant who sang at the first Royal Wedding at Hampton Court Palace in 500 years?! Janet knows how to deliver under pressure and is your total professional when it comes to wedding ceremonies. She has an ability to write creatively quickly and is an excellent communicator, always reaching out to her couples to check they are kept informed and happy. She is happy to take on last minute requests (up to 14 days before the ceremony is due). Janet operates an all inclusive fee to make finances easier and is happy to accept payment by instalment if it means you can have what you want. Vow renewals and naming day ceremonies are also part of Janet's portfolio

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Initial consultation either online, hearing the story and aspiration and ideas; then once booked, sending out my questionnaire to get more details; at that same moment, I give access to my Dropbox link which has more ideas and example vows etc; pulling together those ideas into something coherent and fluid; communicating as things crop up and nearer the day answering any queries - being in touch with other suppliers to check we are all on the same page and finally the day itself!

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

so far, a pagan themed ceremony with handfasting

communication, communication, communication!

What do you love most about your job?

Keep talking to your celebrant. The ceremony is a really key part of the success of your day, more than you think. It is what people will recall.
