I love helping families and couples to make their dream ceremony come true. Whether that be a wedding/civil partnership ceremony, renewal of vows or welcoming a new member to the family. I love hearing people’s stories and turning them into a wonderful script that reflects their personalities and love. I am a very bubbly and vivacious person. People are my passion and I love being with people. I can be quite infectious and that’s not just my laugh. I have been told that I have a very warm personality , a great sense of fun and humour, passion for my profession, oh yes and I am highly professional. I was nominated for the Celebrant of the Year in the UK and was shortlisted from over 600 celebrants. It was an amazing experience for me and it just pushed me to want to spread the passion I have for the role that I have taken on. It is simply amazing.

Absolutely Amazing

My husband and I were lucky enough to work with Lisa in putting together our wedding ceremony in February 2020. Lisa worked so hard to create our beautiful ceremony - she fully embraced our ideas which, combined with her kindness, expertise, humour and sensitivity, resulted in something truly magical. Lisa also offered invaluable support behind the scenes too, from offering us the chance to rehearse our vows so that we weren’t too nervous on the day, to texting me the night before just to check in with my stress levels. All of this is testament to her thoughtfulness and her genuine, caring nature. Lisa was an absolute pleasure to have with us on our special day, and we will always treasure everything she contributed.

When an enquiry is made, I contact the couple and give a warm welcome in my introductory email. I then ask the couple which way they would prefer to be contacted to begin the process of planning their wedding ceremony.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

Renewal of vows where the wife has no idea of what is happening. Her husband planned the whole ceremony in secret
