What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Confidentiality is important to many of my clients to ensure their wedding is unique but rest assured, we have plenty of original ideas to add that wow factor to your big day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
An initial face to face meeting to ensure we all gel. Once you are convinced, we will have a series of conference call meetings at regular intervals in the months leading up to the day itself. One or more of these meetings will be onsite. On the day I will be there early doors to oversee the suppliers, the wedding itself and the strike down operation. I will be the first one on site and the last one to leave.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A funeral. Not that unusual but provides a different set of challenges from an organisational point of view.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Communication is key. There are so many opportunities for frictions and family politics to occur. By having a professional third party involved, we can dissipate some of the tensions and provide an independent party to deliver any final decisions to those who may have differing view points.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
When the room exudes sheer joy and happiness for the couple dancing in the middle.
