Hi, I’m Lauren Ashley-Dutton, the person behind Final Detail Hampshire!
I’m naturally warm, organised and a little bit of a perfectionist. I’ve always loved bringing people together, creating memorable experiences and making sure everyone feels genuinely looked after.
A Little About My Background
My experience comes from years working in hospitality, events and operations, managing everything from traditional pubs and 5 * hotel bars to busy brunch venues that transform into event spaces by night.
I’ve coordinated teams, managed suppliers, organised events and navigated the unexpected challenges that come with running busy venues. I’ve learnt that the most effortless experiences often take the most thought and organisation behind the scenes.
My Winchester Connection
Winchester has a very special place in my heart. It’s where my husband and I chose to celebrate our wedding, surrounded by our favourite people. I Went to university here and built a hospitality career here over the last 12 years . But there was a little twist. I planned our Winchester wedding while living and working over 4,000 miles away in Miami!
From researching suppliers and communicating across time zones to arranging the finishing touches from another country, I experienced firsthand just how much goes into bringing a wedding together.
Even with my background in hospitality and events, I realised how overwhelming the final details could become, particularly when you’re trying to balance planning with everyday life.
That experience inspired Final Detail Hampshire.
I wanted to create a service that gives couples someone dependable, organised and genuinely invested in making their day everything they’ve imagined.
What Is Final Detail?
Based in Winchester, I offer personal wedding planning and coordination across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
My signature service is designed for couples who’ve planned their wedding but want to hand over the final preparations and have the day coordinated for them.
Four weeks before your big day, I’ll step in to understand your plans, coordinate suppliers, create your wedding-day timeline and oversee the finishing touches. On the day itself, I’ll be there managing everything behind the scenes so you can simply enjoy it.
I also offer personalised planning consultations and a complete wedding planning service, from venue research and supplier sourcing to accommodation arrangements and wedding-day coordination.

I believe weddings should reflect the people at the heart of them. I’m not here to take over your vision, but to understand it, support it and bring everything together beautifully.

What exactly does a wedding coordinator do?
Think of me as your calm, organised helping hand behind the scenes! I'll manage suppliers, oversee timings, coordinate the setup and take care of the little details, allowing you and your loved ones to enjoy the celebrations without worrying about the logistics.
When do you get involved in our wedding planning?
With my signature package, The Final Detail, I'll step in four weeks before your wedding. We'll go through everything you've planned, confirm arrangements with suppliers, create a detailed timeline and make sure everything is ready for your special day.
What areas do you cover?
I'm based in Winchester and primarily cover Hampshire/ London and the surrounding areas. I have a particular love for Winchester and its beautiful wedding venues, but I'm always happy to discuss celebrations further afield.
Do you offer full wedding planning or just on-the-day coordination?
Both! I offer three levels of support: The Clarity Consultation (£150), The Final Detail (my signature four-week coordination package) and The Complete Experience (full wedding planning). Whether you need a little guidance or someone to support you throughout the entire journey, there's an option to suit you.
What experience do you have?
My background is in hospitality, events and operations, where I've spent years managing venues, coordinating teams, working with suppliers and ensuring events run smoothly. For me, it's personal. Having planned my own Winchester wedding from over 4,000 miles away, I know how important it is to have someone dependable looking after the details. I combine my hospitality and operations experience with a genuinely caring, hands-on approach. I want you to feel like you have someone in your corner who cares about your wedding as much as you do.
Will you take over our wedding planning or change what we've already arranged?
Not at all! Your wedding should always feel like you. My job is to understand the vision you've created, respect the decisions you've made and bring everything together beautifully. I'm here to support your plans, not replace them.
My venue comes with a wedding planner. Is it still worth having a coordinator?
Absolutely! Although some responsibilities may overlap, venue coordinators typically focus on the venue itself, while I’m there to focus on you and your entire wedding.
I’ll work alongside your venue team, liaise with external suppliers, oversee your personal timeline and take care of those little details that may fall outside the venue’s responsibilities.
Every venue offers different levels of support, so I’m always happy to discuss what’s already included and where I can add value.
Think of your venue coordinator as looking after the venue, while I’m looking after you. 🤍
