You’ve planned your wedding. You shouldn’t have to run it too.
I’m Emily, the wedding coordinator behind Emily Rose Events. I step in six weeks before your wedding to get to know everything you’ve planned, bring all the details together and make sure you can actually relax and enjoy the build up to your day.
I’ll liaise with your suppliers, create a detailed wedding day timeline, work through the logistics, oversee set up and coordinate everything on the day itself. I’m there to keep things running smoothly, answer questions, solve any little problems that crop up and make sure you don’t have to think about any of it.
Having coordinated hundreds of weddings, I know how much goes on behind the scenes to make a wedding feel effortless. I’m calm, organised and very detail focused, but also friendly and approachable. By the time your wedding day arrives, I want you to feel completely comfortable handing everything over to me.
Based in Dorset, I coordinate weddings across the South West and beyond, including country house, marquee, private home and outdoor weddings.
You’ve done the planning. Now it’s time to enjoy it. 🤍
My coordination starts six weeks before your wedding, rather than just turning up on the day. It gives me time to properly understand everything you’ve planned, get to know your suppliers, work through the logistics and create a detailed timeline. By the time your wedding arrives, I know your plans inside out and you can genuinely hand everything over to me.
We start with a full handover where you tell me everything! I’ll then contact your suppliers, go through timings and logistics, create your wedding day schedule, pick up any final details and make sure everyone knows exactly what they’re doing and when.
Absolutely. In fact, that’s exactly who my service is designed for. You can enjoy planning your wedding exactly how you want it, then hand everything over to me for the final six weeks. You’ve done all the planning, but you don’t have to be the person running it on the day.
A little bit of everything! I oversee set-up, meet suppliers, keep an eye on timings, answer questions, gather people when they need to be somewhere, coordinate the ceremony and reception, manage room turnarounds and quietly sort out anything unexpected. My job is to make sure you’re enjoying your wedding rather than thinking about what needs to happen next.
I deal with it! Weddings have lots of moving parts and little things do occasionally change on the day. I’ll work with your suppliers, make decisions where needed and find a solution, usually without you ever needing to know there was a problem in the first place.
I love weddings that feel personal to the couple, particularly countryside, country house, marquee and private home weddings. I also secretly love a wedding with lots of logistics and moving parts. The more there is to coordinate behind the scenes, the more useful I can be!
I’ve coordinated hundreds of weddings throughout my career, from intimate celebrations to large weddings with lots of suppliers, guests and logistics to manage. That experience means there isn’t much that fazes me on a wedding day!
Yes. Supplier liaison is a big part of my six-week coordination service. I’ll introduce myself, confirm the final details and timings with everyone involved and become their point of contact, so you’re not answering supplier questions in the final few weeks or on your wedding day.
Yes! I’m based in Dorset and regularly work across the South West, but I’m very happy to travel further for the right wedding. If your venue is further afield, just get in touch and I can talk you through how travel works.
That moment when everything is ready, the guests are seated and I get to send the couple down the aisle knowing they don’t need to think about anything other than getting married. I also love seeing all the plans I’ve heard so much about over the previous six weeks finally come to life.
