What is your most memorable wedding?
There are so many but probably a recent one I led for some very good friends, it had to be postponed and the joy and celebration was AMAZING!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fun, inclusive, bespoke, friendly, funny
What about your business are you most proud of?
Every ceremony is written with integrity and from the heart. That is what has grown my business; being real and honest.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book your favourite suppliers asap (they get busy) and don't do anything you don't want to on the day. It's about you two!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Being a funeral celebrant as well, I find it so touching when photos or an empty chair is set up for loved ones who are missing from the day, keeping their memory alive.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
All couples can take advantage of my free 3o min zoom session to get to know me and see if I am right for you (very important!) Then we have a first meeting when I find out about your vision for the ceremony and about your lives together so far. I then write the ceremony, we go back and forth with unlimited drafts, refining it until it is perfect and then we have a 2nd meeting (like a rehearsal) closer to the big day...then things really come together and we start getting very excited! Full support is given throughout.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
There has been nothing too crazy so far...but there is always time! :-)
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Organisation and planning...I can't quite leave the 13 years in the military behind and that definitely comes through on wedding days!!
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people, bringing them joy, having fun and seeing incredible venues.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
Vows, vows vows, in all their forms, always special.
