I’m a Yorkshire-based wedding celebrant creating relaxed, personal and genuinely enjoyable ceremonies across the UK and beyond.
I believe your ceremony should be the best part of your day, not something for your guests to sit through politely before the celebrations begin, but something fun and enjoyable, that feels completely like you and leaves everyone talking long after the wedding is over.
Every ceremony I create is written entirely from scratch around your story, personalities and the atmosphere you want to create. Whether you want something fun and laughter-filled, romantic and emotional, or a perfect mix of both, I’ll work closely with you to make sure your ceremony feels natural, authentic and memorable.
From our very first chat, I take the time to really get to know you as a couple. I’ll guide you through the whole process, helping with structure, ideas, vows, readings and meaningful moments, while making everything feel relaxed and easy.
Alongside creating and delivering your ceremony, I can also support you with the legal side of getting married in the UK and work closely with your venue and suppliers on the day to make sure everything runs smoothly and calmly behind the scenes.
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent years working in travel, training and sales, in roles that had me confidently leading a room, connecting with people and keeping things running seamlessly under pressure. It turns out those skills are pretty useful at weddings too!
My journey into celebrancy started when my godson asked me to lead his wedding ceremony. I said yes before I fully realised what was involved, but the moment I started creating it, I knew I’d found exactly what I was meant to do.
I’m based in West Yorkshire but happily travel wherever your celebration takes you, from cosy village halls and countryside venues to destination weddings abroad. My first wedding was close to home; my next is in Croatia.
Most importantly, I want you to feel completely relaxed, looked after and able to enjoy every second of your day, knowing your ceremony is in safe hands.

What style of ceremonies do you create?
Relaxed, personal, engaging ceremonies full of personality and warmth. I love creating ceremonies where guests are laughing one minute and emotional the next, and where the couple truly feels seen and celebrated.
Can we include personal vows, readings or symbolic rituals?
Absolutely. You can include personal vows, family involvement, readings, music and symbolic rituals such as handfasting, ring warming or jumping the broom. Your ceremony is designed entirely around you.
How involved are you in the planning process?
As involved as you’d like me to be! I’ll guide you through the whole process and help with ceremony structure, wording, vows, readings and ideas, while making everything feel easy and relaxed.
Can you help with the running of the day as well as the ceremony?
Yes! Couples also have the option of booking me as their wedding day host. This means I’ll help keep everything flowing smoothly behind the scenes, coordinate with your suppliers, keep guests where they need to be and handle any unexpected moments calmly and discreetly. I can also introduce key moments like your entrance, speeches and first dance, so you can relax and properly enjoy the day without worrying about logistics.
What if something unexpected happens on the day?
Weddings rarely run perfectly to schedule, and that’s completely normal. One of the biggest parts of my role is keeping everything calm, flexible and running smoothly behind the scenes, so you can stay focused on enjoying the moment.
Will we meet before the wedding?
Definitely. We’ll have planning meetings and chats along the way so I can get to know you properly and create a ceremony that feels completely natural and authentic to you as a couple. We normally do this online, but if you are local then I would love to meet you in person!
Do you travel?
Yes. I’m based in West Yorkshire but travel across the UK and beyond for weddings.
