My name is Donna Marie Graves and I am a modern, fun, professionally qualified Celebrant based near Cardiff in South Wales. I am happy to travel anywhere in Wales and the South West and South East of England for ceremonies.
I have been a qualified teacher for over 20 years and I have vast experience in script writing, public speaking and presentations. I love getting to know my clients and discovering their stories and journeys. I am a person-centred Celebrant who is empathetic, focused on your own ideas and wishes. I relish the creative aspect of creating a ceremony from a blank canvas, offering a unique and memorable service, handcrafted just for you. My philosophy is always 'Your Day, Your Ceremony, Your Way!'
I am able to offer Humanist, civil, religious or spiritual ceremonies, including a fusion of ideas, cultures and customs, as well as a more traditional ceremony. If you wish to include your dog(s), then they are welcome too!

Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial contact; ZOOM calls; get to know each other and see if I fit their vision and wishes; confirmation of booking date and pay booking fee; regular contact to commence designing the ceremony and getting to know the couple; questionnaires shared; draft(s) written shared and amended (if required); check-in's; the wedding day!
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
Tibetan blessing for a couple.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Preparation, support, advice, check-ins with suppliers and be in the moment with each other.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting to know the couples, their love story/journey and officiating on the day with the best view in the house! Honoured and humbling to officiate a couple's most special ceremony.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
When the couple share their vows with each other. Looking into each other's eyes and radiating their love and commitment for each other.
