What is your most memorable wedding?
There are too many to pick just one. I have been organising and styling weddings for over ten years and have worked with hundreds of couples over that period...normally each season there are one or two that really stand out for us.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Elegant, timeless, classy, feminine, subtle
What about your business are you most proud of?
We are on the "preferred supplier" list of some of the best venues in Kent.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do it your way
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The groom was a chef and he hand baked every guest a cookie as their favour. The bride then iced a personal message on to each one. There vwas not one guest who was not laughing or smiling when they sat down and opened them.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial communications are normally email followed by the first meet-up in person where we learn all about how you see your wedding and what the most important factors to the couple are. After that budgets and timing plans are put together for approval and then we start to send over potential venues/suppliers/ideas - every couple is different and so at this point there is no set process. We are very flexible with how we work with each couple.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A floral outfit to decorate a Buddha statue!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
With experience we can pretty much foresee any potential problems. But acute attention to detail, super-efficient plans and excellent communications with all parties enable us to run the wedding stress-free. Additional things like contingency plans for adverse weather, paracetamol, plasters, white umbrellas and a full tool-kit are all in the back of our planners cars! You can never be too prepared...
What do you love most about your job?
The creativity of it all and making it unique for every couple plus on the actual day being around such happy people is just uplifting.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
When the bride appears ready to walk down the aisle - everyone (for different reasons) breathes a sigh of relief and then emotions start to flow.
