Yasmin Anne Photography Full Description
I love to photograph people. I love weddings. So naturally I'm a wedding photographer. Your wedding day is the most important day of your life, so therefore your memories of that day are equally as important. I love to capture those memories for you. I don't do sales stuff, its just me and my camera. My husband joins me too on the day, as a second shooter. Weve been married ourselves for 8 years, so were a good team ;) My albums are lovely, you can come and see them in my studio if you like! Call me, or email me for a chat. Yasmin x

What is your most memorable wedding?

We did an Aisian wedding back in the summer and it was so fun!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Light, emotive, personal, intimate, classic

What about your business are you most proud of?

The fact I started from zero. Nothing. 5 years ago it was just me and my little camera. My clients have made me who I am today and for that I am so blessed and humbled.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Do what you want to do. You need to be a little bit selfish, it's your day and should be a reflection of you as a couple. So don't worry about what everyone else wants!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I did a wedding where the brides and grooms names both started with the letter M, so they had M&M's as thier wedding favours! loved it.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I usually meet with a couple before they decide to book with me. We chat, look through my album samples and generally get to know eachother. If we get on we usually end up working together, which is perfect! Sometimes I do engagement shoots, but its not essential. We meet again before the wedding day to have a run through of the day, and generally stay in contact via emails and phone calls until the big day :)

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

There isnt a number 1 photo. Every couple is different. I would say just relax and be yourself on the day, hopefully the photographer youve picked will be able to capture the real love between you both.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I'm the one that usually asks if I want to do anything out of the box!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

An umbrella. We love to do shots in the rain, they are some of the most romantic and epic shots. With the right equiptment, your photographer can caputure amazing shots without you getting wet.

Describe how you got into photography.

It's just something I was born with. I'm extreamly creative. I paint, I sew, I sing I love creativaty. So when I found photography, it was just another outlet for me. My work is my art, I dont see it as a business or a job. It's one of the most important things in my life.
