Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, discreet, friendly, stylish, relaxed
What about your business are you most proud of?
We offer something different. Our pricing isn't like other wedding photographers. Our package pricing starts at just £499 for three hours coverage of the vital parts of the wedding day. Everything else is optional, and the choice of the customer. We're not pushy sales people. We like this, our customers really like this! We pride ourselves on being easy-going and honest about the whole wedding photography experience.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be organised. Keep lists, put things in a file, set up a wedding e-mail address. There's no such thing as too organised when it comes to weddings.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
It's the little things. Wedding favours, the table plan, the place settings. These are the things that really show off a couples' personalities and make the day very unique. Especially if a couple has handmade items themselves, that's always really special.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Some couples like to book their date right away, some prefer to have a chat with us first. Once we've secured your date in our diary we'll leave you be until about a month before your wedding when we'll organise a time to have a chat to discuss all the plans for your day. You'll also need to complete a questionnaire via our website (it's easy, we promise). The final balance is also taken care of at this 1 month before meeting. Then on the day everything will run smoothly and we're all on the same page. We're there to not only take photographs, but help out and keep things organised on the big day. Once we've finished photographing your wedding we'll be in touch ASAP after the big day to share all the lovely images with you and your friends and family. We're very easy going and we'll fit into your day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Every couple is different. Every couple wants different things and likes different things so it really does depend on the couple themselves. There's no fixed rule for what a couple must do, in our opinion. Just have a wonderful day and do it your way.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
We've done all sorts. We've been in hot air balloons, heritage sites, helicopters, museums, art galleries, theatres, fancy sports cars - you name it. "Most Original" is subjective, but we've been very fortunate to work with lots of couples and be a part of all sorts of different and wonderful wedding days.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Your wedding photographer should have plans in place for bad weather. While it might not be ideal, we carry on with all the planned photographs and don't let it dampen our spirits. Being a professional wedding photographer means being ready for all eventualities and going with the flow.
Describe how you got into photography.
Adam started work as a wedding videographer and was fortunate to meet and then train with a Master Photographer early on in his career. No formal qualifications, just lots of experience and plenty of hard work have got us where we are today.
