Multi-award winning photographer with over twenty years of experience photographing weddings from barns to castles throughout the UK.
Choosing your wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions that you will make when planning your wedding. My style combines authentic, natural reportage capture with a touch of classical. I aim to let the day flow with just gentle direction when it's needed.
For most weddings I have a female assistant/trainee photographer who also takes photographs as part of her training, so in effect you have a second shooter included! I Also to have an extra pair of hands when helping gather guests for those important group shots that everyone wants and generally don't want to do! My aim is to make this a fun experience, still allowing plenty of time for you to mingle with your guests while I continue to capture your wedding discreetly for those compelling and authentic photographs for you to enjoy forever.
For your favourite memories of the day. I offer a range of styles and finishes of albums and it’s up to you as to how much you wish to invest. I personally design each album as well as personally editing and preparing all your images from your wedding in my signature style. All weddings include a password protected online gallery to share as well as a highlights slideshow within a week and all your high resolution edited images in my signature style on my branded USB, which I aim to have ready for you within three weeks of your wedding. Albums, thank you cards, framed photographs, engagement/pre-wedding shoots are all offered.

Absolutely Perfect!
We were delighted to have Wendy and Georgie shoot our Wedding on 6 July 2023!
When searching for a photographer, we were looking for one that could capture all those perfect candid moments throughout the day, but without being noticed. Well… we had two!
Wendy and Georgie managed this perfectly. They were able to take all our ‘formal’ photographs with minimal disruption while we continued to interact with our guests and were exceptional at catching amazing candid photos throughout the day.
Wendy and Georgie were also extremely flexible throughout and rather than feeling like we were following a strict playbook, they asked if we would like to capture certain photos as and when nice opportunities arose (including an amazing sunset in the evening) and the results speak for themselves.
The benefit of having two photographers capture your day was really noticeable in the photos we received and there are even some photos that we have sat there and thought ‘how did they even get that shot, I didn’t even notice they were there!’.
Wendy is also very good at getting an initial favourites summary to you very soon after the wedding in a ‘journey through the day’ style which summarises the day perfectly.
Wendy and Georgie strike that perfect balance between professionalism and keeping things relaxed. We really couldn’t recommend Wendy and Georgie highly enough!

I worked with Wendy for my wedding day photography and I can't recommend her enough. She was excellent at making us feel at ease, she came up with some great ideas and she blended in with the wedding guests very well. Wendy was our amazing wedding photographer back in May at Notley Abbey. From our first emails Wendy's amazing communication, warmth and kindness made us feel so at ease. Wendy is a preferred supplier of Notley so it was really reassuring that she'd captured weddings there before and new all the best spots.
We had a lovely pre-wedding meeting to go over the types of photos we'd like to get from the day and also talk about our options for an album post the wedding which was really great. On the day Wendy and her assistant Georgie captured amazing photos, worked so well with our videographer and was generally just a lovely person to have and help guide us through what to do. Post our wedding day, Wendy very quickly shared highlights of our photos and then followed on with all our photos shortly after. Every aspect of Wendy's service is of high quality, and the USB stick with our photos came in a lovely box which is great to keep. Thanks so much Wendy, would highly recommend!

Captured our day beautifully
We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding on the 19th November 2022. Wendy and her apprentice Georgie were so friendly, warm, professional and wonderful from start to finish.
The correspondences with Wendy before the wedding through emailing and also a pre-wedding meet-up were excellent - she went through all of the timings for the day, group shots and worked out exactly what we wanted and fulfilled it all.
The pictures are perfect and we are incredibly happy with how our special day was captured. From the natural shots that show all of the love and happiness of the day to the wonderful group photos that we know our family and friends will cherish. She caught photos of things we had forgotten and had missed allowing us to look through and experience our day again! Wendy worked incredibly with the lighting on the day (beautiful Autumn sunlight), especially by the river and behind the trees at the barn which was just sensational.
We were so grateful with how quickly Wendy put together the highlights gallery online and completed the final collection for our USB.
We highly, highly recommend Wendy!

What is your most memorable wedding?
I can't pick just one!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Creative, timeless, artistic, unobtrusive, warm.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud of having established my business 23 years ago and that I'm still as excited and inspired by photography as I was then. I've made wonderful friends through my business which has enhanced my life and that of my family - a wonderful career!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I can't think of a favourite. I often see wonderful imaginative and creative touches as couples don't feel constrained by tradition as they once did.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Couples either email me or telephone. Afterwards, we will often arrange a zoom call which we're all more accustomed to these days and has become the new norm! Couples are always welcome to come and see me in person and discuss their plans and see examples of my albums and work.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I do love confetti and of course the first kiss!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Don't worry about the weather, it's the one thing you have no control over. The rainy weddings I've photographed have also allowed for some creative, fun and evocative brolly shots!
