Martin and Elaine have been spectacular from start to finish. They responded quickly to our enquiry and had an initial call to discuss what we were looking for. My husband and I are not great and being photographed so we wanted relaxed and fun photographs. This is exactly what we got. They gave easy instructions for us to be able to have incredible pictures. We’ve had our sneak peak photos and can’t wait to see the rest of them!

Martin and Elaine photographed our wedding on 16 December 2023 at Achnagairn Estate in Inverness. What can I say - wow! Not only do we LOVE the pictures, Martin and Elaine were a real pleasure to work with. They were professional, friendly and stuck to our brief (lots of natural pictures of us and our guests). Within a few days of the wedding, we already had some teaser pics back and by the time I am writing this review (09 January 2024), we have the link to all of our previews. We are over the moon with the pictures- they capture the day perfectly and when we look at them, it takes us right back to how we were feeling in that moment. I'm so excited to sit down with Martin and Elaine and create our wedding album. Couldn't recommend Weir Photography enough! Thanks for everything!

We had the pleasure of having Martin capture our special day in August 2023. He was fantastic, all our guests commented on how professional he was and how amazing the pictures turned out. We met with Martin and Elaine at their studio a few times before the wedding to discuss details and communication with them was always quick, polite and efficient. Elaine took the time to help us design our wedding album after the big day, we were very impressed at how this turned out. Fantastic photographer, professional and well priced. Would highly recommend!

What can I say about Weir Photography. Fantastic. A month before our wedding our photographer cancelled on us. With a call to Martin he actually moved his diary around to accommodate our big day. A pre wedding sit down in their studio, describing what was going to go on on the day, put our minds very much at ease. On the day the video and photographs went without a hitch; organised and professional. Post wedding day another sit down explained all album options and wow, the pictures were fantastic. All in all, pleasant, accommodating, professional , well priced. Use these guys and tell your friends.

When choosing our photographer we wanted to go with only recommendations from people we knew. We knew 2 separate couple who both had their wedding photographed by Martin and couldn't say enough good things. We had met Martin and Elaine on two occasions before the wedding. It was good to put a face to a name and discuss how we would like our day mapped out. This made us feel more relax in their company as we were both a bit apprehensive about being infront of the camera. The big day rolled round and Martin had met up with my husband and the boys first and took some lovely shots of our quests arriving and the boys all together. Then met up with myself and my mum as we doing final touches upstairs took some beautiful shots of us together, moments I will never forget now. Martin was keeping me at ease and keeping me talking while the nerves were setting in which meant alot as a sort of distraction. Me and my husband had a small intimate wedding with only 20 guests so the images from the ceremony really mean alot to us as you can see each quests faces as we said I do. Finally we had our photos taken together as a now married couple. Myself and my husband were so relaxed infront of the camera and the results showed. We are so incredibly happy and overjoyed with the photographs. So much so we are in the process of working with Elaine in getting our photographers put into a gorgeous album that we had been shown previously. We can not wait to receive this it will be like seeing our preview images for the first time again. We 100% recommend weir photography 📸

Our original photographer for our wedding sadly had to retire through ill health and Martin and Elaine luckily had availability on our date. The booking process was seamless and we had all the details and date booked very quickly. On the day Martin and Elaine were a great team, putting everyone at ease, making sure we got everyone in the group photos together and not only taking fantastic photos of us but really captured everyone who was there. The natural photos along with the other photos were truly amazing and memories we will have forever. Thank you both again 😁

I cannot recommend Martin and Elaine highly enough. They shot our wedding in the summer and it was perfect. The pictures and video beautifully captured our day and give us memories we can look back on and cherish forever. They were professional and supportive start to finish despite covid delays and everything was worth the wait to see the album all together. Thanks again Martin and Elaine!

We had both Martin and Elaine for our wedding, from prior to the wedding the input that Martin had was amazing and really helped and then on the day the direction they gave and how they just went about the day made it so easy and we now have photographs that truly wonderful and beautiful. I can’t thank both Martin and Elaine enough for their time and effort and for helping make our day so memorable!

We has the best day, and what makes it better is it was all captured beautifully by Martin, out photos and video will be treasured forever. Martin was just the right level of bossy and patient, getting us all where we needed to be and capture the essence of our relationship, wedding and overall day.
