Hello, I'm Victoria and I offer natural storytelling photography. I don’t make people stand for hours on steps posing for me. I love just being there – blending into the background – and taking everything as it unfolds and not interfering with the loveliness of the day. That is why I describe my style as reportage, unobtrusive, documentary or ‘natural’. I let the day unfold and capture what is happening rather than trying to re-create or add anything artificial. I offer gentle art direction, relaxed and bubbly guidance but my focus is on observing all the incredible things that will happen on your day so you have the cherished memories to look back on. Can't recommend Victoria enough!
We can’t recommend Victoria enough! From the first communication right through to the end, Victoria was so friendly and helpful. It was a stressful time planning a wedding in a pandemic but Victoria was so flexible and helped me keep calm on the day. We loved all of Victoria’s photos and we were so pleased with how quickly they were turned around. Victoria also did a fab job of capturing all of the ‘little’ details of the day. Thank you so much!

Victoria went out of her way
Not only are Victorias photos lovely but her consultation before and after the wedding are amazing being so flexible with our ever changing plans and making us think about different bits of the day we hadn't considered. With our wedding being a "covid wedding" Victoria went out of her way to make sure we got some lovely photos with guests that wanted to strictly stay 2m away. Cant wait to have you for our wedding celebration next year too.

Extremely professional, communicative and friendly
Victoria has been extremely professional, communicative and friendly throughout. Unfortunately our wedding was cancelled due to covid-19 so no pictures to be taken. However, Victoria continued to be the most communicative and supportive of all our wedding suppliers through the crisis. Captured us all looking natural and at our best
I was really impressed at the images Victoria took of our family. Amidst the usual noisy family chaos she was able to capture us all looking both natural and at our best. Victoria was wonderful
We chose Victoria for her bubbly, friendly enthusiasm and the results we had seen on her web site. We wanted a more informal and natural approach which could make the most of the beautiful settings we had selected. Victoria was wonderful throughout. We talked on the phone, we met at the venue to “walk through” the service and reception then we provided a list of all the key people we wanted to be photographed. We were blessed with a picture perfect day, a beautiful bride and a fantastic venue and church. The collection of photographs are wonderful, everything we wanted and more. Stunning and exactly what we wanted!
We couldn’t recommend Victoria highly enough - the final photographs are stunning and exactly what we wanted. We received them on the doorstep as we returned from honeymoon - they made us cry when we first saw them! The composition and colour is beautiful in all of them. Many of our guests have commented how flattering she has made people look - even certain guests who don’t usually like their picture being taken. On the day, it was like having another friend there with us. She didn’t impose at all and at times we didn’t notice her taking the photos. The only problem is choosing which ones to go up on the walls - there are so many beautiful shots to choose from.

What about your business are you most proud of?

My photos meant something personal and special enough to couples, families and friends, I get to see them on big canvas' in the middle of someone's lounge. There's not a better feeling than that!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Plan for your wedding to be as much about YOU and what YOU represent as possible. Sure you have to please Great Aunt Maud and your Mother-in-law, but make sure the theme and the essence of it, is about your personalities. That way you'll feel the most comfortable and enjoy the day as much as you can. One of my brides had a top make-up artist do her make-up. She made her look utterly incredible. But also utterly unrecognisable! She wiped it off and did her own!!!!! Make sure the face of your wedding is close to your own :0)

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A dedicated bride at her parent's country house, grew a tree in the middle of the garden with the intent of building a marquee around it. It was a fab 'comments tree' for people to add their well wishes to the newly married couple. Very dedicated though! And it's stayed there as a lovely momentum for her parents and future grandchildren.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Whatever you feel comfortable with!!!! If you want to go out in the rain with a nice big umbrella and splash around in muddy puddles, I will be right by your side. If you prefer the comfort of being inside, we'll make the most of inside space. I am happy to shoot both :0)
