What is your most memorable wedding?
Sunset at The Balcony in Zakynthos, Greece.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Vibrant, fun, natural, documentary, unobtrusive
What about your business are you most proud of?
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Get a printed album. And make sure your wedding is shot to tell its story. It makes a huge difference.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
All food homegrown by the guests.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Chat, laugh, plan. An order of schedule is the most important thing for a photographer. Then I will scout out the venue and look at the light, angles, where to stand etc. It's great if you are they as well. Next we plan the group photos to save you time on the day. Finally we find a good spot for some nice couple portraits, usually taken towards the end of the day. These generally turn out to be my clients' favourite images
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Newlyweds, together, after the ceremony and dinner. Towards the end of the evening, before the real partying begins. The light is the best and their faces are full of joy and excitement (by this time the nerves will be gone!)
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I quote "We are going to take our clothes off and jump in the sea! Are you ready?"
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
More colourful decorations and outfits (if possible). Or a large indoor area to get group shots. Group shots are hardest if we cant go outside.
Describe how you got into photography.
I held my first camera when I was 6 and haven't put it down since! It's one my life's greatest pleasures.
