Full Description
Hi all! I'm Lou, your Nottingham wedding photographer. I've been a photographer for approximately 10 years, previously working for Royal Caribbean International and Disney Cruise Lines. I love working with people and the buzz of photographing someone's special day, their wedding day. I offer a fun, natural and creative style of photography and often play the role of a little ninja, capturing people candidly. If you're looking to have two photographers at your wedding, don't worry! I often team up with other professional photographers in the area so two photographers is always an available option. I'm a sucker for a good sunset and getting creative when the sun goes down to get you the wedding photos you, your family and guests will love and cherish forever!

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Lou Tickle
Hi, thank you for stopping by! It's always important to choose the right photographer and not just for their photos. Getting to know your wedding photographer will help you build that all important rapport, so you are relaxed around them and can trust them to get you those breath taking wedding photos to cherish forever. Every wedding is different, so I always strive to create unique photos for every single couple.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Photographing a wedding at the Goring Hotel, in London. The same venue the Dutchess of Cambridge, got ready for her wedding.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Fun, Relaxed, Natural, Creative and Light & Bright

What about your business are you most proud of?

Building my business up from nothing to what it is today and being a small part of couple's special day :)

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I will always try to meet couples before booking - it's always nice to put a face to someone's name and have a chat, go over your requirements and answer any questions you may have

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Taking photos on a red double decker bus. Just as we were about to go in to the venue, the groom, leaned in new wife off the back of the bus and went in for a kiss. It was a spontaneous moment and one of my favourite photos for that reason.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

I'm always prepared for weddings come rain or shine. I have a couple of "bridal brollies" in the car. We can still get creative in the rain, especially when it's dark or the sun's going down. Finally, to make sure white dresses stay white and dry, I have tarpaulin for brides to stand on (and hidden under the dress etc).

Describe how you got into photography.

My Dad used to let me play with his analogue camera as a kid. I was always fascinated with photography as a hobby. It seemed a natural career path - turning your hobby into your business. It's a pleasure to be able to wake up every morning doing I job I love and I wouldn't change it for the world.
