I'm most proud of the relationships that I build with my clients. I work closely with each couple to understand their vision and capture the essence of their relationship. It's an honour to be trusted with such an important job, and I'm proud of the work that I do to create lasting memories.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number one wedding planning tip for couples is to prioritise the things that matter most to them. Whether it's the venue, the food, or the photographer, focus on what will make your day special and memorable.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my favourite personal touches at a wedding was a photo display of the couple's grandparents' wedding photos. It was such a beautiful way to honour their family history and create a connection between generations.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My typical process with a couple involves an initial free consultation to get to know each other and discuss their vision for their wedding day. We'll talk about the timeline, any specific shots they want, and any special requests they have. On the day of the wedding, I'll capture the moments as they unfold, working to create beautiful, natural images. After the wedding, I'll edit the photos and deliver them to the couple in a timely manner.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I think every couple should have a photo of them looking into each other's eyes and smiling. It's a simple yet powerful moment that captures the love and connection between them.
Describe how you got into photography.
I've always had a passion for photography, but it wasn't until I was gifted a camera for my 17th birthday that I started taking it seriously. I began taking photos of friends and family, and eventually started shooting small events. As I continued to hone my craft, I realised that wedding photography was my true calling. I love being able to capture the love and connection between two people on one of the most important days of their lives.
