What about your business are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the trust couples place in me to capture one of the most important days of their lives. Hearing that my photos let them relive the emotions of their wedding day is the greatest reward.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Focus on what truly matters to you as a couple. Trends and opinions will come and go, but when you prioritise the things that make you happiest, your day will feel authentic and memorable.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love when couples include something deeply personal, like handwritten vows, family traditions, or small details that reflect their story. It always makes the atmosphere more heartfelt and unique.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From the first enquiry, I like to get to know each couple and their vision for their day. We usually start with a consultation, either in person or online, to discuss their plans and style. I stay in touch throughout the journey, offering support and guidance. On the wedding day, my approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, allowing moments to unfold naturally while I capture them beautifully. Afterward, I carefully curate and edit the images to create a collection which will be shared in a private online gallery, delivered within 2-4 weeks.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A quiet moment together right after the ceremony, away from the guests. The emotions are so raw and real in those few minutes, and it always creates the most powerful and heartfelt images. My husband and I did this ourselves, even before the photographer found us. Best memory of our wedding when we jumped up and down and giggled saying, “We did it!”
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Groom and his mum’s first look. Not the norm but the moment was so beautiful that it’ll stay as a must have going forward for me! Made me tear up just as much as Daddy and daughter first looks!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace it. Rain can be incredibly romantic and atmospheric, especially with umbrellas, reflections, and the soft light it creates. I always carry clear umbrellas for couples so we can still get beautiful outdoor shots without worrying about the weather.
Describe how you got into photography.
I have been an avid photographer since childhood, always fascinated by how a single image can hold so much emotion. Photography taught me patience, the value of waiting for the perfect moment, and an eye for detail. Over time, this passion naturally grew into a career, and now I feel privileged to capture love stories and preserve memories that couples can treasure forever.
