The Last Of the Light

My name is Darren and I live with my wife Clare, who I unfortunately gave a rhyming surname to as a wedding gift. We have 2 children; Amaya, who was named after a beach close to where we got married in Sri Lanka and Albie, who was named after my late Grandad. Having lived and grown up in the City of Birmingham, we recently took a different path and chose to move to the countryside. We found our perfect family home, well, it will be once we are finished with it, on the outskirts of a little village called Romsley in Worcestershire. First impressions are; it’s very quiet and very dark at night! When I’m not shooting weddings, I love nothing more than being with my family, my children are growing so quickly now that I want to savour every minute I can with them. I also love taking my wife out on date nights where we spend a good portion of the evening discussing the children and worrying whether their grandad managed to get them to bed!
