What is your most memorable wedding?
A 1920s themed wedding in 2022 set in an Art Deco venue with all the guests in 1920s outfits. Truly wonderful..!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural Relaxed Candid Fun Professional
What about your business are you most proud of?
My photographs!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
A pre-wedding photo shoot really does help ease any nerves before the big day
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A gender reveal cake as the bride was expecting a baby after the wedding was postponed for 2 years due to Covid. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I offer a free “no obligation” initial consultation to chat over a coffee about your big day and what you expect from your photographer. If you decide to go with me, I then give you a booking form / agreement to complete. At that time a 20% deposit is required to secure your date. A pre-wedding shoot is offered with all packages over 4 hours which takes place 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet me again but this time with the camera at an Isle of Wight location of your choice. I will take a series of beautiful photos and put you at ease with poses I may also use on the day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A special one of the two of you that you’re more than happy to hang on the wall..!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
There have been quite a few but I would say the bride in her wedding dress and denim jacket (with BRIDE embroidered on the back) at a festival style wedding
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
White or clear brollies. Photos in the rain are sometimes better than those in strong sunlight!
Describe how you got into photography.
My Nanna was a hobby photographer and bought me my first camera when I was just 8 years old. It’s only since her passing that I truly found my niche in life
