What is your most memorable wedding?
It was Rose and Matt's at Exeter Cathedral. Such an amazing place to have a wedding ceremony! Felt very privileged to be chosen to shoot their wedding at such an iconic building.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, relaxed, candid, fun, arty
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be sure to take some time out together. The day passes so quickly so I think it's really important for couples to just sit back, soak it all in and enjoy the feeling.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A table plan was made of every individual persons polaroid!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once a couple confirmed they would like to book me for their day I send over a booking form for them to fill out and return, a deposit is also required at this point. A few months before the wedding I meet up with the couple, preferably at their chosen venue, to run through the day and discuss any particular photo's they would like. Four weeks before the wedding, the remaining balance is to be paid. Then all that's left is for me to capture all their special moments on their big day!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A Grooms odd socks!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace it. You can never guarantee the weather in the UK so you shouldn't spend time stressing over something you have no control over. I do what I can to make sure you still receive great photo's, despite the rainy weather.
