Hi, I'm SJ! A documentary wedding photographer from the Isle of Wight who travels across the UK &beyond to capture authentic, timeless images for couples that want a relaxed vibe. Whether you are having a London Wedding at Claridge's, a Chateaux Wedding in France or an alternative diy celebration in your home town, my approach is always the same. To tell your love story! I aim to capture your day exactly as it unfolds without the photography holding it hostage. No awkward poses or hours away from your guests. The small intimate details and moments make up the big memories, and I document them all. I capture the laughs and tears, the hugs with Nan's or shots with Gran's, fingers touching and holding hands. Morning swims, dinosaur masks and dancing in the rain. Dresses hung up, doughnut trucks and rings exchanged. I capture stolen glances, beaming smiles and a tender touch. Wedding photography is not just about taking a picture, anyone with a mobile can do that. It is about capturing human connections, emotions & creating something you can feel. I have been lucky enough to photograph 100's of weddings over the past 9 years & the majority of here on the Island I call home. I grew up exploring the beaches, downs and woodlands, to see it become a Wedding destination in itself is a true joy. I get to share all of my knowledge of the area and natural beauty with our couples and have been privileged to photograph almost every venue the Island has to offer.
