FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

It has to be a video shoot for Jemma and Michael in Cambridgeshire. The surprise singing waiters had everyone up on their feet.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Creative, unobtrusive, relaxed, fun, thorough.

What about your business are you most proud of?

The majority of my weddings come from customer referrals, which is lovely to think that my couples rate me highly enough to recommend my services to their friends and relatives.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Budget for a videographer. Moving images are more important than ever, and get viewed by my couples more often than their still photographs.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Not necessarily unique, but the large illuminated letters of the bride and grooms surname look great in video or stills.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once initial contact has been made, an informal coffee, or a video call is recommended to break the ice a little. When the couples requirements have been talked about and agreed upon, a contract is sent outlining my role on the big day. I keep in touch regularly and I’m always available for advice or questions. Nearer the wedding date, I will get a schedule of service from you. Once the wedding day has been and gone, you will receive your fully edited photos or video within a 4 week turnaround.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

There are a massive combinations of family dynamics in the modern era in which we live. Photos with family are at the request and discretion of the wedding couple. A simple shot of the couple leaning in towards each other smiling is always a winner.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

White umbrellas and a sense of humour.

Describe how you got into photography.

My dad always had good quality film cameras when I was growing up. I used to insist he take his camera to every family event or day out so I could use it. I’ve always appreciated emotive images.
