I have photographed over 400 weddings. From extravagant London locations like The Natural History Museum, to intimate rural village affairs. I have only ever worked in the creative industry. After studying graphic design I worked as an Art Director on some of the biggest brands in the world, creating compelling imagery and composition, landing myself a few international creative awards along the way.
Wedding photography has gone through a number of fashion changes in the past few years. From a yellow tinted vintage style, to more recently a diffused fog look to images. Already, vintage is no longer ‘vogue’. How would you feel when you bring out your album many years from now and the effects used on the pictures make them look out-of-date?
My philosophy with wedding photography has never changed or faltered. I leave the ‘special effects’ with limited shelf-life to the vast army of weekend warrior photographers. I believe in classic compostion capturing the true heart, soul and emotion of your day. Timeless images with a timeless filmic look. Images that when you show them, many years from now, your children and your friends will say – WOW!
If you are looking for a glamour shoot, then sorry….it’s not me. If you desire an unobtrusive photographer who can work in the background, creating a stunning visual narrative of your day, along with a creative spin on family groups and couple shots, then I would love to meet you and chat about your vision for your day.
