What is your most memorable wedding?
It has to be the wedding for The Thunder in The Glens - Harley Davidson. Paul and Shelley were so patient on the day and full of fun throughout. A truly magical couple who will always be considered great friends

That I have the honour to be part of a couples special day and that I have the pleasure of capturing those treasured images

It is your special day - make sure you do it your way
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The couple letting off white balloons into the sky and watching how they soar high.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I prefer to have a pre- wedding consultation to go over the details, a visit to the venue and couples choice of sites for formal images. On the day I arrive well in advance of the start time and stay until the agreed time. Dependant on requirements I can be available to be booked the day before or after to capture further images related to the special day.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Standing on top of hay bales - the tractor had to lift the couple up onto the bales
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Two white brollies which I have at hand at all times.
Describe how you got into photography.
I spent years walking my dog in the Cairngorm Mountains with a little Nikon Photopix. One day in my work as a trainer for HSBC a colleague expressed their belief in me and from there I studied my Degree in Commercial Photography. I have never looked back and enjoyed every single moment.
