Shell Lawrence Photography

Hi, I am Shell Lawrence. What can I tell you about me?..... Well I’ve always loved photography and have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. Photos to me are my memories, I love trying to capture the moment allowing memories to be captured forever. Whether that be at a wedding or out on the football pitch. My aim is to allow people to cherish their most joyful moments for the rest of their lives. My favourite and most important thing as a photographer is capturing emotion, there is nothing better than the moment the father of the bride sets eyes on his daughter for the first time on her wedding day or when proud parents are showing off their new born baby. If I can capture those moments so they can be looked back upon time and time again and the visual imagery tells a story of those exact moments then I am happy. I also have a passion for sport and if I’m not playing football or running a race then you’ll often find me at the side of a sporting event with my camera capturing the story of people on sometimes their proudest days. The first time they ran a half marathon and showed pure joy and relief as they crossed the finish line, maybe they saved a penalty in a cup final or scored their first ever goal in a hockey match. No matter how big or small these achievements seem they are still achievements and I feel they need to be celebrated and admired. Some day you may look back at that picture and see just how far you’ve come.
