Describe your typical process with a couple.
Usually, we will have a brief chat about your requirements for the big day, this is either over WhatsApp or Zoom/Skype. Once you're happy with everything we have discussed and agreed on everything, a 20% deposit is required to secure the booking. This is non-refundable.
We then arrange a date and place to meet for our consultation, this is usually in a coffee shop that is local to one of us or somewhere half way depending on where your location is, this time gives you a chance to get to know me, and for me to learn more about the types of photos you would like to be taken. Once this is done, I am then in contact with you if you choose to book a together session and we arrange this 3-4 months before your big day. This gives you a chance to get used to being in-front of a camera, and to learn how my shooting style is. I am usually very relaxed and absolutely love using ideas my clients may have as well as my own.
On the big day, I arrive with plenty of time to set up, and capture everything that we have previously discussed throughout the day. Photos usually are ready within 5-6 weeks and options for prints/albums are discussed at our consultation.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
First Looks are the best!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A first look with the bride and her dad only.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas! Large wedding umbrellas are a definite must for a rainy day wedding. We can create some beautiful images come rain or shine!
Describe how you got into photography.
My passion for photography started when my son was born. I realised how much I wanted to ensure that each and every moment of his life was there to see for when he was no longer so small. The details are what is most important to me, the moments we will never get back, I needed them to be there for me and my family to look back on just to re-live the moments that had gone by so quick.
I wanted to share my talent with the world and help other people have their special moments on camera for them to look back on whenever they wanted to re-live their special moments
