Captured every emotion
Sandie was our incredible photographer for our November wedding, what a dream. When picking a photographer know that they will be with you for your most intimate moments so pick someone you trust and can love, because they will get the best shots. Sandie was there all day caught every emotion and moment, she knew how to work with us to get the best natural shots. Again everyone talks about what a laugh the photographer was and how amazing our shots are! I laughed our whole day and she captured every smile. Than you again Sandie

Best best best photographer!
Sandie is the best photographer a bride and groom could ask for! She takes everything in her stride (be that wind, rain or Covid!). She put everyone at ease during our day and kept us all going and at the end of it all she becomes a friend! Her photos are absolutely gorgeous - even on a dull Hebridean day! Would absolutely recommend Sandie!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A midnight Halloween wedding at the ancient Callanish Standing Stones on the Isle of Lewis.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, Timeless, Fun, Creative, Reportage

What about your business are you most proud of?

Happy clients

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

When choosing a photographer, ask to see a full wedding, after all, would you buy a house from viewing one room?

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

When the bride and groom write cards to each other before the ceremony.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Meeting couples beforehand whether it be for a coffee or on Zoom. I like to give a pre-wedding photoshoot, it helps relax the couple and for us to get to know each other better. On your big day, your photographer spends the most time with you, so it's good to know you get on.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A Harry Potter-style wand fight composite shot

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Rain on your wedding day is considered good luck. Keep smiling, I'll get the brollies out and we'll get some great shots. If the weather is really bad, I have the experience and equipment for great indoor shots.

Describe how you got into photography.

I used to be a travelling musician and between gigs I had a lot of free time. I bought a compact camera to pass the time and I was hooked. I then went on to study the subject gaining a Diploma with Distinction.
