Over the last fifteen years I have developed a unique style of wedding photography: fusing beautiful, natural story-telling reportage with stunning contemporary, fashion inspired portraiture. I have gained a reputation as one of the East Midland's most exciting talents, offering something fresh and different but still timelessly beautiful.
There isn't much I haven't seen over the years and love the challenge that each indivial wedding day brings, I am also lucky enough to be the favoured photographer of many of the region's most prestigious venues, and a speaker for national photographic retailer, Wex Photographic on flash and lighting techniques.
But let me tell you a little about me. It all started when my Dad put a camera in my hand at about the age of four. At the age of around six I graduated to one with film in it. My Dad's other passion is drumming: my brother got the drum kit. Things could have been very different.
I started shooting weddings when managing a studio in sunny Essex and realised that couples wanted something exciting and fresh, photographs that really captured their unique personalities and relationship, their sense of style and fun, photographs that they would want to show off and that would bring back memories of their perfect day for years to come.
I believe that magic happens when couples are relaxed and having the time of their lives. I also love getting to know the brilliant and often hilarious couples I get to work with, and becoming just a friend with a camera at their weddings. That's how I am best able to capture all the love and laughter of a wedding day.
Most of the day, I simply concentrate on capturing the moment, letting the day happen naturally.
