Based on the stunning North Wales coastline of Prestatyn, I have worked hard to build an extremely exciting & successful photography business with a reputation for quality and fun!
Your Wedding Photography is one of the most important aspects of your big day and you will be spending a great deal of time with your chosen photographer, so my job (apart from capturing all of your most magical moments throughout your day) is to actually keep you calm, relaxed, happy and at ease, whilst providing a few giggles along the way.
Even after many years of photographing weddings I am always experimenting with new techniques etc. which keeps ‘my’ style of photography fun and fresh!
I can tailor a package to suit you and your budget and even provide a second photographer giving you a different perspective and angle creating those much loved candid images.

I booked Blue Bug 5 years ago. We were due to get married in 2020 but Covid happened. Sally managed to fit in our rescheduled day into her very busy schedule and I’m so glad she did! Sally is truly an amazing person to be around, she makes you feel so comfortable and confident and will try and recreate any picture you want. She captures candid photos of everybody at our wedding so nobody was left out. Our photos have come back beautifully and I cannot recommend her enough to anybody!

Wow, what a business 🙌🏻 we chose blue bug to photograph our wedding, we went with the Full Package and it was so worth it and amazing value may I add. The work and effort that Sally put in on our big day shines through the photos. I have never met anyone so patient and committed to making sure everyone else is happy and comfortable. Our 2 year old little boy was very irritated and tired and our 7 year old got stage fright but Sally rolled with it and still got incredible photos.

We felt Very Relaxed
Sally was a joy to work with from start to finish , we felt very relaxed having our photographs taken with her which made everything so much easier ! Sally took great photos of both us ( bride & groom ) and our guests , individually and in groups and we’re going to have a really hard time choosing which to put in our album and on the walls but a lovely problem to have ! I booked bluebug photography around 2 years ago for our wedding just after we had booked our venue. I had seen there work a few times prior to booking and knew straight away that they were the perfect fit for us. We had our engagement shoot earlier on in the year and couldn't believe how amazing the photos turned out, but they have absolutly nothing on our wedding photos!!! The lighting, the angles and even the company of the amazing Sally turned our photos into the most beautiful memories

What is your most memorable wedding?
Each one is special and I remember all but an amazing one had Alexandra Burke preform at it. Just fabulous!

I'm proud of my reputation and google reviews! I have many bridesmaids also book me for their wedding which is an honour!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Allow enough time on your special day for photographs so you can enjoy it rather than be rushed and stressed.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Late father's suit made into a teddy so the teddy could be brought down the isle - I cried!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I offer an engagement shoot and this helps massively with nerves and we do get to know each other so much better. The whole day I am on hand to help smooth away issues and give my couples the best time together to relax so I can get better images.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Tooooooo many to say!!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I had a fabulous image of the bridal party getting ready in the bathroom - full comedy, one on the loo, one cleaning her teeth, in the shower, shaving armpits - absolutely brilliant. Also, the bride's dog balancing the ring on his nose. I love dogs so always jump at the chance of involving them
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas and flats - get out there and have fun!
Describe how you got into photography.
I started way back in school using a dark room and developing my own pics, I then got a proper job until 15 years ago when a friend asked me to photograph her wedding. Following the scariest day of my life we popped the images on Facebook and people loved the pics and wanted to book me! My business was born and eventually I went into it full time.
