It's all about the personal service so I'm aiming to photograph only around 15 weddings in 2016. This leaves me fresh and with energy to put maximum energy into the weddings that I photograph. That's important because I believe a massive effort should go into photographing your wedding and I will continue to hunt out the best images until the very end of your wedding. That way it remains less of a job and more of a passion!
I'll come to meet you before the wedding day and I'm happy to look at your wedding venues at the same time if that works. We'll talk through the options and agree a price. I'm charging between £500 and £1500 depending on duration, distance and what will be included. Typically a wedding that I photograph will start at around midday with the brides preparations (only about 15 mins) then on to the wedding venue half an hour before the ceremony. Lots of shots of the guests arriving followed by the bride. During the ceremony my aim is to be as discrete as the venue requires. After the ceremony it often works well to do some of the group shots at the wedding venue, the remainder can be done at the reception, or at some other scenic location (beach, viewpoint etc). It's worth emphasising that I work as quickly and informally as possible and I'm very conscious of the 'too-much-hanging-around' issue that can plague wedding photography. I usually stay until around 9pm, after the first dance, or later if required.
Most couples seem to want just the digital images now on either disk or flash drive, but I am more than happy to get involved in the production of wedding books if required. You will get between 400-700 images, all processed and optimised, with some black and white and many cropped versions. i think you'll be very pleased with the results!
