What is your most memorable wedding?
I recently did a wedding right next to a fair ground! We managed to get shots on the carousel and they just made such a unique collection!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fun, alternative, Relaxed, Stress free and memorable!
What about your business are you most proud of?
The thing I am most proud of is that me and my partner started Precision ourselves with me buying my first camera at 17 (after saving up my pay of £3.50 an hour for years!)
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Surround yourself with suppliers who add to your day! Having a supplier who can keep you on track, helps where they can and treats your day as if it were there own. It really will make your big day stress free!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We like to send our brides little gifts on their 1st year anniversaries whether it be a selection of mini prints, or a wedding picture show!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Tons of tea and chats before the big day to ensure our couples are comfortable with us - This is extended far beyond your big day and we promise to keep in touch afterwards so any questions you have are answered!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I don't think there should be 1 image that everyone takes! I like to shoot my weddings based on the couples style (which we talk about over tea!)
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
This is a tough one! I've been asked to photograph everything from shoes to landscapes. I love using silhouettes though!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Venue in the background, couple under an umbrella lit from the front, flash gun lighting the rain from behind. Beautiful!
Describe how you got into photography.
My real passion developed (pun intended) in college. I had a great teacher who saw potential and helped grow my passion for the subject. Meanwhile, I was working as a team leader at KFC, Carmarthen. I owe a lot to this as it taught me so much about customer service and business in general. It was also at this time that I completed a hospitality & management degree! Jump a few years and I went to Swansea UWTSD to continue my studies in Photography. Specialising in the arts I achieved my BA in 2018 and in the same year established Precision Photography! The rest is history!
