Hey!! I’m Helen. 6ft, Hufflepuff, mildly Disney obsessed thirty something professional wedding cake stealer who's been shooting weddings for nearly a decade. (Why does this suddenly sound like a tinder profile…!!?) Less about me, more about my photography. *insert standard photographer's cliche about photography always being my passion since being a kid* Unfortunately, it’s true! Blame my Dad!! Won my first photography competition in Brownies when I was only 7 (Landscape shot of the Lake District and a portrait of my hamster Rupert, if you really wanted to know!) I love people-watching. Being immersed in your day right from the very beginning and being part of the furniture. (Speaking of furniture, I will most likely climb on something at some point to get "that shot" and casually move things around if required...!) I'll make you laugh (normally at me, rather than with me...) to get true smiles rather than fake posed ones plastered across your face. I capture real, unposed, unexpected moments as they happen and all the little details that you've put your heart and soul into that took you months (sometimes years!) to plan. I'm also the kind of person that will happily get muddy for that shot of you walking through a woodland at your venue, casually climb in a bush to shoot through some blossom (or most likely fall in it...) or even army crawl across a field and you have a cuddle in some corn at sunset. Right the really important bit.... Me photographing your awesome wedding day! Well to start off, there’s not just me. All my standard packages come with two photographers, as I believe you are both as important as each other. You should be able see what each other get up to in the morning before you meet and say your “I do’s”. Then it's all the way through till the knees up when your evening guests arrive and beyond!!
