Frequently Asked Questions

What is your most memorable wedding?

I remember every one, some very very grand and others not so. I particularly remember a teenage bride and groom who had bought the dress and suit in a local charity shop. They had next to nothing. After the register office ceremony I arranged for us to walk them through the local street market and they had small gifts given to them by some of the stall holders. A lovely feeling of generosity.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

From Experience comes Creativity.

What about your business are you most proud of?

My client testimonials - a recent bride wrote on facebook ' I feel privileged to be able to call Keith my friend'

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Your spreadsheet timetable won't be kept to, and, girls, never wear a moistuising foundation as it can cause 'hotspots' - areas of high shine, on your forehead, cheeks and chin!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

A chat over a drink, a short slide show of some of my imagery and a look at album styles. When youve booked we get an engagement shoot in the diary and them a pre wedding consultation a month before the wedding day.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

In the haunted tower of the Boleyn family home.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

You get under two enormous white umbrellas and I get wet!

Describe how you got into photography.

At the age of eight I realised I could hide behind the camera, although very far from shy now it was a great way to be everywhere and not seen back then. It's that experience that makes me so sympathetic to anyone not liking their picture taken.
