We care about you and your family’s happiness.
From the moment you contact us you will experience our warm, professional, quality service whether you prefer through email, social media, online video calling, phone or text.
Our first priority once you have enquired about our service, is to meet with you in person. You are potentially going to spend up to ten hours with us, trusting us with one of the most important days of your life so you need to get to know us, be comfortable and rely on us.
Your wedding is a unique day, it cannot be repeated or replayed so getting it right on the day is essential, as a result your photography is not part of your wedding to take risks with.
There is a cost implication to all parts of your big day however consider which service will provide you with a product that will last for years to come – your photographer is this service.
At Picture of Happiness we offer a flexible payment plan which can be spread out your payments providing you with reassurance, security and ease.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Well for sure it was a wedding in Shropshire at a country house - the couple were so laid back. All the kids had face paints done and were running around like superheros!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Narrow down your search by deciding on your preferred style. There are so many photographers out there but the styles really vary - make sure you know the style of editing you are happy with as these images will be with your forever.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We had a couple who had pet ducks in their garden and the Bride took such a long time making paper mache duck statues for her tables. They were decorated in beautiful patterns.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Its very important that you meet your photographer and have good communication - after all you are trusting them with the most important day of your life. So with every enquiry we will have a chat on the phone to start with, arrange a meeting where we can discuss your wedding plans and requirements in more detail and you will experience a pre-wedding shoot about 2 months before the big day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
There is not one photo that a couple should take - there are so many important 'moments' during your big day that need capturing. The most special though are after you are married and you both have some quiet time together, enjoying each others company, away from the guests and have your private photos taken.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Original, amusing and quite comical - a groom using the brides dress to clean a Mustang he loved!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Wellies, brollies and a fab sense of fun!
Describe how you got into photography.
My story is quite emotional so bare with me.
I had an interest in photography when I was five, I was always taking pictures. I don’t know what sparked it back then, I just loved capturing memories and I used to put everything in albums and I have still got some of those albums with those really old photos in, particularly of donkeys and horses at the New Forest.
Now, when I take photos there’s more meaning behind it with what happened with my brother. Peter, was a very special person in my life, he was born with multiple disabilities and although was eight years older than me he was my little brother in so many ways. He lived until he was 39 years old which we now understand was a blessing but his loss made me really think about my little family, how lucky I am that I had all those photos and memories forever. I did not see the value in those photos when I was younger, now they mean everything to me. I appreciate the memories, I appreciate the value of them.
