What is your most memorable wedding?
Every single one is unique - One crazy day I could be on a glacier in Alaska with the couple, the pilot and myself as both witness and photographer. But then looking out over the Rialto Bridge in Venice, or under an olive tree in Spain... these are all glamorous and special.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, Emotional, Comfortable, Fun and Creative
What about your business are you most proud of?
The reaction that my photography and art gets.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Walk slowly down the aisle and savour every moment - your guests are there for you.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A memory easel, which I created for a couple, to display on the day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I ask you what your #MIM will be - what is your Most Memorable Moment and the thing you are most looking forward to? I meet you, we go over everything that is planned - timings, I make a checklist for myself to use on the day (so I don't have to keep asking questions)... we strategise it all so it's both best value AND captures the biggest bits. We meet at the venue too, then after your wedding you get pictures in 5 days and (for the full day package) you get up to 6 pictures ON THE DAY sent to a phone on WhatsApp by 8PM!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A big group shot with absolutely everyone included, as soon as possible after the ceremony.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
There are too many to describe - each wedding is unique.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas to match your character and a #PlanB for group shots - under a large tree or by using architecture in a clever way.
Describe how you got into photography.
I wanted to create joy through imagery - and translate what I can see - the beauty I witness - by taking a picture instead of having to describe it in words.
