What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Time is always the enemy, especially with the preparations. 70% of the time the hair and make up runs over, and puts pressure on the whole pre wedding shoot. Best tip... tell your hair and make up artists you need to be ready 20 minutes before you actually do.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A groom learned to play the guitar without his bride knowing, on the morning of the wedding, he sat outside her hotel bedroom, and played her favourite song, very moving...
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Wee meet for you to view my work, we meet again 3-4 weeks prior to your wedding to fine tune, we meet and shoot together on the day, I prepare your viewing within 4-6 weeks, once you return to me with your chosen images I prepare a sample Wedding Art Book design, you amend, I correct, once everyone is happy, it goes off to be hand made in Italy by the finest wedding book specialists, to my exact designs.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The 1st kiss at the end of the ceremony, its a huge moment, and a lot of tension is lifted as you kiss as a married couple for the 1st time.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A bride in a snow-swept landscape, lifting her dress, wearing bright red wellies, kicking snow all over her groom!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Smiles, if it rains on your day, the thats just the story of your day and I will still tell the story of your day perfectly, paint days equal stunning skies, and with the help of brollies and willing groomsmen, we can still create some wonderful art for you.
Describe how you got into photography.
Age 14 I assisted the best local wedding photographers for free for over 2 years, until at age 17 I shot my 1st wedding. I also studied photography for 2 years and gains a distinction diploma.
