Photography by Abi Moore Full Description
Congratulations on your engagement! I would love to be a part of your wedding day, capturing and creating memories of one of the most important and special days of your lives. My style is emotive and vibrant, with a relaxed and natural approach. You want photos that reflect what you are like as a couple. You'll want to look at your images and go 'wow', laugh out loud or cry with joy. You won't want to spend your day saying cheese, you'd rather be enjoying your celebrations together. You've invested lots of time perfecting all the tiny details and you'll want to remember them. I'll capture the details, the fun, the joy and the love as the day unfolds, as well as spending a little time together to create some very special portraits. I will give you memories that you'll look back on for years to come and recall how amazing it all felt! All my standard wedding packages include a pre-wedding meeting, a full set of high resolution digital images, as well as a stunning contemporary album. When it comes to planning your big day, you want to ensure it runs without a hitch, and so do I. At your booking consultation and pre-wedding shoot, we'll discuss the finer details of your day from timings to special touches and we'll agree the groups you'd like photographed. For your peace of mind, I carry back-up equipment and I am fully insured. Please get in touch - I'd love to hear your plans for your big day!

Frequently Asked Questions

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Relaxed, natural, emotive, enjoyable and vibrant.

What about your business are you most proud of?

As of November 2020, I've been in business for 10 years. During this time, I've gained qualifications including my Craftsman with the Guild of Professional Photographers, been published in international media such as The Daily Mail and Vogue, and had a photography project go viral with coverage in Burma & Brazil amongst other places!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Look through a few photographers' websites to decide what style you of photography you like (romantic and whimsical, natural and documentary, fun and vibrant or somewhere in-between!). Chat to your photographer before booking them to ensure you get on - they'll be shadowing you for most of your wedding day.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We'll have a booking consultation in person or over the phone to discuss their plans for the big day and what they'd like from their photography. A couple of months before the wedding we'll then have a pre-wedding meeting and practice shoot - at this we go through all the details, get to know each other better and have a practice shoot to help them relax in front of the camera. On the day, my goal is to slip into the background - it's always fantastic feedback to hear they didn't even know I was there! - I'm listening for laughter and looking out for emotional moments to capture even the things the bride and groom don't see. Although I like to be inconspicuous, I'm also happy to take the lead during group photos and no stranger to organising groups of 100+ guests for photos. After the wedding, they'll get their online gallery which they can share with family and friends, as well as choosing their favourite images for an album.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I've done a replica of a photo of the cast of Dynasty at a same sex wedding. I've also photographed a fancy dress wedding with guests including a mermaid, a steam punk character and the Monopoly man.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

When choosing your venue, think about how it will work if it rains on your day - especially if you're marrying in the wetter months. Chat to your photographer about wet day plans, and decide if you're the type of couple who'd rather stay indoors in the dry or whether you're happy to pull on a pair of wellies and a brolly and head out in it.
