Paul Kearton Photography Full Description
I've been a wedding photographer for over 10 years and have worked at many fantastic venues throughout the North West and the UK. My unobtrusive, creative, fun approach enables me to capture your wedding day in a way that adds to the occasion - the informal spontaneous moments, the loved ones who have gathered to celebrate with you, the details you've spent so much time arranging and of course, lots of beautiful relaxed portraits of you both. All clients receive fully optimised digital files on disc or USB stick and I also provide an extensive range of high quality albums for couples requiring this. I'm not cheap, but for good reason. I offer a professional service that taking into account meetings with you, planning, extensive coverage of your wedding and many days digitally perfecting the images, typically amounts to around 80 hours work. If you like quality, style and enjoy having a laugh, I'd love to discuss your wedding photography requirements. Further examples of my work, testimonials and information can be found on my website: www.paulkeartonphotography.com Some of the great venues I have worked at include: Statham Lodge Sandhole Oak Barn Rookery Hall Capesthorne Hall Arley Hall Nunsmere Hall Hilltop Country House Hoghton Tower Cranage Hall Tatton Hall Mottram Hall The Belle Epoque Stanley House Soughton Hall The Mere Armathwaite Hall The Barn at Barons Hill Farm The Queen Hotel Chester Grosvenor Pulford Hotel Mains Manor Cottons Hotel

The images are beautiful and we can’t wait to see the album.
Thank you for photographing our wedding at Hoghton Tower. The images are beautiful and we can’t wait to see the album. Thank you for being so kind and patient when it was raining - it turned out to be a good thing in the end as we got beautiful shots in the ballroom! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your services.

The most important thing that Paul achieved was to really capture the essence of the day - the atmosphere, friendship, smiles, love and laughter.
Paul was brilliant from the very first meeting. We felt at ease and after a couple of conversations about the style and content of images, we knew we were in good hands. On the day he was there for all the important shots, whilst managing to fade into the background. Not once did we feel imposed upon. The most important thing that Paul achieved was to really capture the essence of the day - the atmosphere, friendship, smiles, love and laughter. No mean feat! We are absolutely delighted with our wedding album.

From Paul’s genuine friendliness and consideration for our wedding day, to his jaw dropping ability to simply catching the perfect photograph we could not have been more delighted with our choice.
Choosing your wedding photographer, pretty important I would say. More important than the venue? The dress? The suit? At the time of planning, potentially not, but consider you will look at the photographs of you in the suit, in the dress and at the venue more than you will care to consider after the wedding then the photographer suddenly becomes one of the most important purchases on your wedding day. We feel fortunate that we were “fairly” switched onto this fact, so had our eye firmly on the RIGHT photographer. Paul Keaton ticked the right photographer in every way. From Paul’s genuine friendliness and consideration for our wedding day, to his jaw dropping ability to simply catching the perfect photograph we could not have been more delighted with our choice. We do not want to write a simple testimonial that says “best photographer ever” we want those who visit Paul’s website when considering using him to fully understand what makes Paul special. We felt Paul was “on our side” from the planning to the actual shooting of our wedding day. Paul came to us with creative ideas, never once did we feel we were imposed on by Paul. One of the greatest compliments we can give Paul was that we never really felt like we saw him on our wedding day – he was there and boy do our final shots prove that, but the skill of the right photographer is capturing your dream shot without you having to feel you have earned it. Paul is simply the best wedding photographer we have come across. The quality of his work speaks for itself. Your wedding photographer is hugely important. Paul Kearton is your man.

He worked so hard throughout the entire day and as a result we have some truly beautiful photographs to help us remember our perfect day.
We met Paul and instantly warmed to his friendly but professional approach. In contrast to some of the other photographers we had spoken with, we both found Paul to be helpful, approachable and person-centred. In the lead up to our wedding, Paul met with us on several occasions at times to suit us. He really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted. On the day Paul was absolutely fantastic! He was everywhere, capturing all the shots we wanted without being obtrusive. He was kind, patient and fitted around us (even managing to get the rather nervous groom to eat something before the ceremony, which is impressive!) Paul was a consummate professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. He worked so hard throughout the entire day and as a result we have some truly beautiful photographs to help us remember our perfect day. We cannot speak highly enough of Paul and would not hesitate to recommend him Paul - thank you so much

Frequently Asked Questions
(9)

What is your most memorable wedding?

My own of course! (It's more than my life's worth to say anything else.)

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Creative, natural, contemporary, relaxed, fun.

What about your business are you most proud of?

The genuine, great feedback that I've received from past clients. It makes all the hard work worth it.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Even if you don't choose me, make sure your photographer is someone you are sure you'll get along with. They're going to be around you for the majority of your Big Day.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

No two weddings are the same. It's therefore vitally important that I fully understand your requirements and I like to do this at a meeting where we discuss the wedding plans in detail. When your booking form and deposit of £300 are received the date is secured and I provide a receipt for your records. The balance payment is required no later than 28 days before the date of the wedding. If feasible and convenient about 2-4 weeks prior to the wedding date, it's beneficial to meet at the venue(s), go through the final details, discuss and check you are happy with my suggestions for the best photograph locations. Around 4-6 weeks after the wedding, if feasible we meet, I show you your wedding photographs and if you are having an album, I give advice about selecting images for this. If you are happy to do so, I put your wedding on my password protected website for you, your family and friends to enjoy. If you do not require an album I supply a disc or USB stick with your wedding photograph files. If you have paid for an album, when I have received your selection of photographs to be included, I design the layout and send a PDF of this to you for approval. When confirmation that you are happy with the design is received, your album is ordered and delivery normally takes around 6 weeks. I then supply your album and disc or USB stick to you.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The first time you see each other at the ceremony. It's always always a fantastic moment.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

The identical triplet bridesmaids. Trying to figure out their names was fun!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Lots of smiles. Rain shouldn't affect the best day of your life. I always try to have a wet weather plan that we will have discussed prior to your wedding day.

Describe how you got into photography.

I blame my obsession with photography from a very early age on distant relatives who were famous pioneer wildlife photographers.
