Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Creative, natural, contemporary, relaxed, fun.
What about your business are you most proud of?
The genuine, great feedback that I've received from past clients. It makes all the hard work worth it.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Even if you don't choose me, make sure your photographer is someone you are sure you'll get along with. They're going to be around you for the majority of your Big Day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
No two weddings are the same. It's therefore vitally important that I fully understand your requirements and I like to do this at a meeting where we discuss the wedding plans in detail. When your booking form and deposit of £300 are received the date is secured and I provide a receipt for your records. The balance payment is required no later than 28 days before the date of the wedding. If feasible and convenient about 2-4 weeks prior to the wedding date, it's beneficial to meet at the venue(s), go through the final details, discuss and check you are happy with my suggestions for the best photograph locations. Around 4-6 weeks after the wedding, if feasible we meet, I show you your wedding photographs and if you are having an album, I give advice about selecting images for this. If you are happy to do so, I put your wedding on my password protected website for you, your family and friends to enjoy. If you do not require an album I supply a disc or USB stick with your wedding photograph files. If you have paid for an album, when I have received your selection of photographs to be included, I design the layout and send a PDF of this to you for approval. When confirmation that you are happy with the design is received, your album is ordered and delivery normally takes around 6 weeks. I then supply your album and disc or USB stick to you.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The first time you see each other at the ceremony. It's always always a fantastic moment.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The identical triplet bridesmaids. Trying to figure out their names was fun!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Lots of smiles. Rain shouldn't affect the best day of your life. I always try to have a wet weather plan that we will have discussed prior to your wedding day.
Describe how you got into photography.
I blame my obsession with photography from a very early age on distant relatives who were famous pioneer wildlife photographers.
