Describe how you got into photography.
I have always been fascinated by the idea of capturing moments in time, I’ve been working for prestigious brands and shooting people, locations, weddings and events, from the Arctic Circle to the heat of the desert, for more than 20 years. I’ve learned a lot in that time about constructing the perfect image. I’ve also learned there is no greater privilege than capturing a perfect day and being part of a couple’s enjoyment, love and laughter.
There is one opportunity to reflect the venue, faces, events; the details and enchantment of the whole day. This is not a responsibility to be fumbled. But nor is it an occasion for stuffy, lifeless photography. My career began with dedicated shoots for editorial magazines, including location and celebrity portraits for the UK’s best-selling publications. Capturing personality and preserving an all-too-fleeting atmosphere are the lifeblood of my photography. Book us for your wedding and we bring all this experience to bear.
I’m a qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and I always strive for perfection, but I favour a light touch and a gentle presence. I can work with your ideas or entirely under my own direction, and am fortunate in sharing my passion with – and having the full assistance of – my wife, Sue further ensuring the seamless running of your shoot. I give a sensitive contribution to the day and deliver an elegant, subtle and timeless visual story.
I have travelled the world in pursuit of my passion. Today, working out of Stamford, Peterborough, and London, I am available to document the magic, beauty and joy of your wedding anywhere in the country, or even further afield.
