So, our journey with Browsholme started in May 2019, I fell in love as soon as I saw the barn. We had looked at several venues before, but to be honest I just didn't like the "you can have package A, B or C" we got. Browsholme isn't like that, the venue is yours for the day, and Rebecca will work with you to make it truly your bespoke day not a package in sight. We booked our wedding for the 29th March 2020, with 110 day guest and 200 night guests invited. Then COVID hit, and so with 10 days notice we had to postpone. To say we were devastated is an understatement.
So we set about contacting everyone, Rebecca and Amanda could not have been more supportive helping us find new dates (We're on our 4th date now). Nothing was too much trouble, and they even spoke to the caterers to keep them updated with the changes. They've kept in touch almost monthly to check we are doing okay, and in summer they organised a social distanced party in the park in the stunning grounds (bottle of bubbles included) for all the couples who had weddings postponed. Browsholme isn't just a stunning wedding venue, they make you feel like part of the family.
At the start of November 2020, we decided that we didn't want to wait until 2022 to get married, so I contacted Browsholme and told them I wanted to get married with just our top table (Parents & witnesses) and that was it. On the 12th December 2020 we became Mr & Mr, and the only organising I did was speak to Amanda & Rebecca. They made it perfect, because they got to know us. We couldn't of asked any more.
In 2022 we are having the day we planned for 29th March 2020, only this time it will just be a vow renewal, and I can't wait.
I have no doubt it my mind Rebecca, Amanda and the team will make the day perfect as with our intimate / exclusive micro wedding (trail run)!
