The photographs from our wedding were genuinely lovely, and we’re grateful to have many beautiful images from the day. Paula did a wonderful job of making us feel at ease and enjoy the day. However, some important shots were missing, including photos of the groom with his parents, which was disappointing given the significance of the occasion and upsetting for the family. Unfortunately, our experience with the video was much worse. The footage appeared to be shot mostly from a static tripod, the quality was poor, and the final edit felt rushed and disjointed. Key moments of the ceremony and other important parts of the day were missing entirely, making the video feel incomplete and not reflective of our wedding. After we raised our concerns, the videographer Bob initially offered to redo the video. When we then asked for the raw footage, all communication stopped. Multiple attempts to make contact were ignored, which felt extremely unprofessional and left the situation unresolved. While we were fortunate that an invoice for the video was never issued, the lack of follow-up and communication was very disappointing. Overall, while the photography itself was good, the videography and handling of our concerns fell well below expectations. Future couples should think carefully before booking videography services here. While the photography results may be nice, the videography quality and, more importantly, the lack of professionalism and communication when issues arise are serious concerns. Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime events, and being ignored after raising valid concerns is not something any couple should have to deal with. I have had to accept that we will never have the video we wanted or imagined however it is still very upsetting when the happiest day of your life is tainted because of the videographer’s unprofessionalism.
