What is your most memorable wedding?
It was at Swallows Oast in Sussex, and had firefighters creating an archway made of axes for when the bride and groom walked back down the aisle.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Beautiful, Natural, Relaxed, Inspired and Bespoke
What about your business are you most proud of?
It would have to be the kind words that my couples say about me! It's so great to know that you have made someone so happy that they shed tears of joy when they see their photographs for the first time - very special.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Involve members of the wedding party into helping you with everything - they will feel more involved and it will limit the amount of stress on you!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
It would have to be a projection of the couple's names in lights on the wall at the venue where they were married. Coupled with the beautiful pink and orange lights that shone the way up the aisle, it was a really lovely little touch.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The getting to know you begins duringour first telephone call. From there we can see if we're the right fit for each other and when you decide to book me I create a contract for you. Once this is signed, and a non-refundable booking fee of £350 is paid, then your date is secured with me. After this time, I stay in touch throughout. If you're having a pre-wedding photo shoot, we will arrange a date, and work together to create a mood board for the kind of images that you would like. I would also send you a pre-wedding questionnaire and we would also have a pre-wedding consultation nearer the time of your wedding too, ensuring that everything would run as smoothly as possible. Delivery of your images is typically around four-six weeks after your special day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A pre-wedding photo shoot - it allows you to get to know your photographer and be more relaxed on your wedding day.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Arranging all of the wedding guests into a heart and having the bride and groom in the middle.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Please don't stress about the weather - it's the one thing you can't control. I will have a white umbrella with me so that we can get some lovely outside images. It is rare that it rains all day with no break, but if it does, I am highly-skilled at being able to get you some beautiful imagery inside your venue too.
