What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
ENJOY wedding planning! It maybe hard but but try not to worry or stress too much, it goes by so fast, so wasting any of your energy or moments on being upset is not worth it. Before you know it you will be looking back wishing you were planning it all again.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
As part of the table plan, all their guests had a drink named after them to match their personality. Very unique and a lot of thought had gone into this.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initially I like to have a phone call/ video call with my couple to introduce myself and discuss their ideas/plans for their wedding day. Then around 6 weeks before the big day, if I haven't already, like to meet them face to face to go through the itinerary and any other requests that they may have.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A picture that involves BELLY LAUGHS, I mean teeth out, unflattering chins the lot. A moment where pure happiness and love is captured. A moment you will look back on in years to come and smile.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A picture of a bride with her pet snake!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Ask your venue if they supplier white/see through umbrellas and also to just EMBRACE it!!! The weather is only thing you are not able to control, so don't let it spoil your day!
Describe how you got into photography.
I've always loved Photography, I just didn't realise I could make a living from it. After I had my son, I decided I wanted to work for myself doing something that I love and what I'm passionate about.
