What is your most memorable wedding?
Wow - that's impossible to pick!!!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Elegant, timeless, organic, beautiful, fun
What about your business are you most proud of?
The service that I provide is a very genuine and personal one and I feel deeply grateful and honoured that the vast majority of my brides keep in contact with me for years after their weddings. I love that I get to watch their families grow!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always plan to take a few moments away from your guests during the day....just a few minutes alone together. The day goes so fast, it gives you the opportunity to breathe, to connect with each other and to let the day soak in.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
For me, adding as many personal touches to your day is so important! It makes the day a celebration of who you are as individuals and as a couple and allows your guests to really connect to that. However, its impossible to choose my favourite!!!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I start the process with either a Skype call or coffee and cake. This gives us both the chance to see if we are a good fit for each other....and to eat cake (always a good thing as far as I am concerned!)
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The one that's most important to them! For one of my couples that was a picture of their dog carrying the ring....it will be different for everyone. What's important, is that we figure out between us, what those important things are.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Stay calm and don't let it dampen your spirits (excuse the pun!) I always ask my brides to bring wellies - the idea is that if they have them, it most likely won't rain! If it does, then don't worry! I always have a 'rainy day back-up plan' and usually there will be an opportunity to get outside and take some great pictures. The key is to be adaptable and to approach the UK weather with a sense of humour.
Describe how you got into photography.
My dad was a fashion photographer in London and so I have been involved in photography for my entire life. I have a BA (hons) in Film and Photography and over 25 years experience of working within the photographic and film industries.
