If you’re curious about how we go about photographing your wedding day, then you’ve come to the right page.
We’re sure you’re not looking to be carted off for hours away from your guests taking posed and romantic photos. That’s why we try our best to keep it short and sweet. We want you to enjoy your wedding, spending time with the people that matter most, not stuck with us taking photos for hours (as awesome as we may be!)
The Hardly Posed Posing
Let us explain… It’s extremely unlikely you’ll hear either of us ask you to move your arm or your fingers unless you’ve asked for a specific photo. We don’t like posed photos. We want you to feel relaxed and enjoy a moment away from you guests where you can both talk, cuddle and have a laugh without an audience (we don’t count). It’s good to take a little break during your wedding for a few relaxed photos, no need to entertain or to tell Uncle Bob where the toilet is for the third time.
We usually do the ‘posed photos’ in two sets, maximum 20-30 minutes a piece. We don’t even take that long most of the time unless you have a super big venue that involves lots of walking about. One part will be during the day so you can have that little break, the second around sunset hoping for an amazing, orange sky!
