Hello, I’m Maddy - I’m a mum of two wonderful children, aged 11 and 1 (plus two lovable Spaniels!). I’m an all-out dog-lover, a NUFC supporter - by default, thanks to my footy fanatic husband 🤣 - and the proud owner of MP Wedding Photography, located in Consett, County Durham. I married my wonderful husband, Matty, in 2021 at a local venue, The Black Horse Beamish. I often reminisce on our day, wishing I could do it all again, although I am grateful every day to relive those spectacular memories for others, doing what I love as a professional Wedding Photographer! I specialise in non-invasive, relaxed, and free-flow photography, capturing intimate moments that you and your partner may miss amidst the excitement and anticipation of getting married. I have been described as "more than a Photographer" at my clients’ weddings: I’ve ensured every detail is put in place, from making sure necklace clasps are positioned where they should be, to noticing the slightest thread on the bride’s dress during bridal prep. I’ve been the mother figure who has everything (sometimes unexpectedly, even for my standards!) in her bag, from plasters for last-minute accidents to mints for that essential freshen-up pre-ceremony. I’ve been a confidant, sharing advice where I am asked, and a trusted figure with all of the guests, from children through to adults! I have been known to shed a tear at weddings because, for me, the most important part of what I do is being invested in you and your special day. This is what makes photographing weddings so exciting for me!
